MiLA Foundation implements many different projects in all three fields of its activity. From 2012 untill 2014 we accomplished 17 projects worth more than 3 000 000 PLN (around 700 000 EUR) as well as many commercial services.

We implemented the following international projects:

  • "Participation - let's make the next step!" - a project aiming at strengthening social dialog between municipalities and local communities, including social consultations, participatory budgets and other mechanisms; implemented in co-operation with partners from Norway (Nordic Institute of Training and International Networking and Ideas Bank); funding: EEA grants within "Citizens for Democracy" programme;
  • "Young leaders of Sousse and neighbouring towns" and "Youth Councils in Tunisia" - projects aiming at strengthening local democracy through supporting local youth councils in Tunisia; implemented with partners from Tunisia (Eureka Association, We Love Sousse Association, AJMEC Association); funding: Polish Development Aid programme of Polish Ministry of Foreign Affairs;
  • 4 Polish-Ukrainian projects aiming at developing a cross-sector partnership in Krivy Rih (Ukraine), acting for ecological education, public spaces revitalisation, industrial heritage protection and strengthening of local democracy; implemented with local partners from Ukraine; funding: Polish Development Aid programme of Polish Ministry of Foreign Affairs and "RITA - Regions in Transition" programme of Polish-American Freedom Foundation;
  • "State of Europe"- a project aiming at an exchange of experiences in the field of eco-tourism between partners from different countries: Poland, Denmark, Norway, French Guyana and Romania; funding: EU Grundtvig programme;
  • "Future for All" - a project aiming at training youth leaders from 6 different countries in the field of social innovation and social entrepreneurship; countries involved: Poland, Moldova, Romania, Ukraine, Georgia, Denmark; funding: EU Youth in Action programme;
  • "Partycypacja - dyskutujemy, decydujemy, działamy" - a project aiming at strengthening social dialogue and local democracy on local levels; implemented in co-operation with partners from France (CPIE des Pays de l'Oise and CPIE Bresse du Jura); funding: Swiss Co-operation Programme with New EU Members;
  • "Model Climate Conferences: negotiating our global future" - a project aiming at raising awareness concerning climate changes among youth from 3 different countries: Poland, United Kingdom and Czech Republic; funding: EU Youth in Action programme;
  • "Conference - Significance of Greenways for development of tourist potential of rural areas in the Visegrad Countries" - a project aiming at exchanging of experiences on sustainable tourism development between partners from Poland, Czech Republic, Estonia, Russia and Hungary; funding: Visegrad Fund.
